About me

I am a professor of educational measurement at the University of Antwerp. I have expertise in statistical modelling, with an emphasis on mixed effects (aka multilevel) modelling, longitudinal data analyses and psychometric models. My research mainly focusses on assessment in both education and vocational contexts, with a strong focus on judgement and rater-effects and the merits and pitfalls of comparative judgement.

As a senior research fellow of the research group Edubron (www.edubron.be), I have been involved in a broad variety of research projects specifically in training and education sciences and more generally in humanities (e.g., linguistics, psychology, management, …).
